Why do you have appeals?
As mentioned above, Youth Jam is a listener-funded radio station, meaning we rely upon the listening body to financially input into the network, so we can continue to broadcast positive media to Perth and beyond. Unfortunately the station gets no Government support and we know that advertising alone will not allow us to responsibly pay all of our bills.

What is the target for April Appeal 2024?
This appeal's target is $8,000!

What does my donation go towards?
A great question! Every dollar that is invested into Youth Jam is used in a responsible way. Funding goes towards paying off insurance, music royalties, licencing, server costs, equipment upgrades, staffing costs and other everyday costs. Youth Jam only asks for what it needs.

Do I get a receipt?
Yes, our donation system will automatically send you a receipt once the donation has been processed. If you donate via cash or EFT/bank transfer, you can request a receipt, which will also be sent via email.

Is there a minimum donation?
Yes, but the minimum amount is only $2. This means you could donate $2, $5, $10, $100, $365 or $1,000! Every dollar counts. Donations are sadly not tax deductible at this time.
